How Add Page Numbers works
- 1.Choose a PDF.

- 3.Choose all pages, selected pages, or a range. The preview updates live.
- 4.Press Process and download.
Privacy
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to a server, never stored by PDFZova, and never shared with anyone. Closing the tab discards them. The only exception is if a future tool is explicitly labelled as server-processed — this tool is not one of those.
Frequently asked questions
Do skipped pages still count?
Yes — numbering follows the document order, so if the first page is skipped, the second page is still number 2 (or your start number + 1).
About Add Page Numbers
Unnumbered documents are hard to reference in meetings and printouts. Add Page Numbers stamps every page in a position and format you choose — for example “Page 3 of 24” — with a starting number for documents that continue another file. Numbers sit half an inch from the page edge, so check the preview if your document already has a footer.
